I Too, am America
I am the darker skinned brother They command me to feast in the back room When guests come, But I giggle, And eat fine, And grow healthy The following day I'll be in the main room When visitors come Nobody will ever Say to me, "Eat in the backroom" Then. Otherwise They will finally notice me And regret their descisions of their past. I, Too am America.

In my opinion the definition of American is to be born in the United States, and have a certain race, which the race is "white". Also the word american to me is people being rich and having a nice house. Then in my perspective I think "The American life" is having to be nothing to something. Like, perhaps you are not noticed but a life changing act can make yourseld be famous. Also other reasons for being an American is having rights and freedom. Other reasons of the "American Life" is having a family that is loyal and can have a bright future. The "American Life" is a goal that most people strive for. American Life is to be educated.
Generalaztions: Occurs over time, Can be positive or negative, Leads to change and Can be planned or spontaneous Student-led Research Results We decided to interview Bobby Azarian who is a cognitive neuroscientist and is a science writer who has had works published in The Atlantic,The New York Times, BBC, Scientific American, Slate, The Daily Beast, and the Huffington Post. Question: Answer: As artificial intelligence develops over time, is there a capability that they will inherit qualities like racism or discrimination based on race? What changes should be made to ensure that A.I. can adapt over time to be humane, objective, and morally or ethically sound? Does A.I. inherit qualities through its environment or its internal programming? “To address your first question about whether AI will inherit our racial biases and prejudices, the answer is, they will by default if we don't address this issue directly. Essentially, if you recognize that advanced AI often learns from "reading" tons and tons of human generated content, like that which is on the Internet, you will see that it is inevitable. Since the Internet contains documents and articles written by humans, who have inherent biases, they tend to inherit these biases, and this shows when they are making judgments or associations. I wrote an article just weeks ago about this exact issue, called, "Study finds AI systems exhibit human-like prejudices". Unfortunately our biases are embedded in our language and cultural history. Special care must be taken by the programmers of these systems to ensure that these biases are corrected for when the AI system is making decisions.” Is the capability of A.I. consistent across cultures around the world or do cultural or racial factors influence how an A.I. thinks and acts? “Until we have Strong AI, which should have morals and ethics that emerge naturally, we will have to be very meticulous in the way we write programs to ensure ethical and moral behavior. We won't be really creating moral machines, just machines that follow our instructions which ideally have built in rules that result in the appropriate moral and ethical decisions. For example, if a machine is used as a weapon on the battlefield, it will not be an intentional agent, it will blindly follow it's programming, so the responsibility of it's moral behaviors fall on the humans writing its software. A robot soldier should be programmed to distinguish between a civilian and a threat, for example, and to treat them appropriately. But these decisions are a result of its programming — it has no true intent. To ensure that moral and ethical behaving AI software is written, there should be non-partisan and diverse ethics committees in place that oversee these issues. Complex moral dilemmas that will affect us will inevitably arise. It is not as easy as making machines that will know how to act humanely or morally in every new situation, unfortunately. Since they aren't truly aware or self-aware, they are just making decisions based on predetermined algorithms, most new cases will have to be planned for in advance, when the program is being written. Until we know how to make AI where true intention and subjectivity emerges, the ethics and morals must be programmed as computational rules. “ “You ask if AI inherits properties through the environment or its internal programming, which is an astute question. It is a combination of the software's code and the information it is processing from its environment. Input is converted to output via specific algorithms, so the computer learns from the environment but its "learning program" is created in advance. What's neat about modern AI is that the neural networks they operate according to are modeled after the brain, and therefore have "plasticity". AI learns as humans learn in that associations are reinforced by what it learns from input from the external environment. In this way, it can 'learn' our negative stereotypes. But it does not understand or experience anything subjectively.” Changes over time - A.I has changed from the past and it will continue to improve in the future.
Ethics- A.I can bring both good things and bad things to occur
Contributions- AI can really change the way of life for many people
Language of the Discipline- AI is the theory and development of machines that can do human tasks without the help of humans

What can I contribute as a future computer engineer to ensure that AI doesn’t continue human faults of bias and discrimination? Since the last time I wrote about my research, I found out that artificial intelligence requires many things to discriminate and be racist to others. So, artificial intelligence learns from the internet, that means if we make racist jokes or start discriminating others it will learn how to be racist. The only thing I learned about myself during the whole project is giving most ideas to my partners. My ability to work with others is going well so far. We have not argued about anything we let each other talk if we have an idea. Our group wants us to make sure that we have a background that will cooperate with our whole topic. So my partners got the idea to put similarities between regular people like us and robots. We showed how there is an extra person for the humans because we are adapting more rather than artificial intelligence. For our creative piece I was planning to something to do with electronics because our project revolves around A.I and A.I needs the internet to learn. Without learning A.I would not learn to become racist. So I was thinking to do something like a styrofoam head and cutting it in half and writing all the racial thoughts it has, with detail of cogs or something like that. The things I need to do to complete this project is too work hard, focus on the task we are doing. We are going to definitely going to need the supplies so we can draw out the cogs and paint the head sculpture. How collaboration is going very well still but also we are having trouble because we always get off task everyday and I want to reduce it.
The articles we have found have many reasons about how some people actually want to build the robots that have artificial intelligence. Also it gives information on how some people are against artificial intelligence and how they are wanting to make artificial intelligence happen. Throughout our experience of learning artificial intelligence, I learned many things about how artificial intelligence was just a thought or theory. So far we did not change our topic, nor the universal theme, we did not plan what our driving question would be. That means that we are very proud of what our topic is going to be, we feel like this topic is the best decision we made. The extra information we need to find is basically the cause or theory of artificial intelligence, why should people manufacture the A.I robot. Also I would like to find information on how people would use the robots. I would ask if they would they put them in good use or take advantage of the robots. The collaboration in our group is going fairly well, and at times our group falls behind. When I mean “falls behind” i mean that our group is not on task nor focusing on our work. But overall I think our group is doing well so far, all we need is to focus on our work more.
The TLP project that we did had many meanings to it. For example the blue mountain represented sadness because the little prince is talking to himself and he is lonely. The box represents how the little prince is isolated, and also it is the color red because it represents power. Also the little prince is inside the box because he is lonely.
In this picture the man is thinking of a cloud but everyone who is told to draw or think of a cloud they will think of the same shape and size of the cloud because he learned it from authority, tradition and also culture. Sometimes this person or even people will have doubts. They will have doubts if they did not learn from their tradition, authority, and culture because they were influenced by authority and tradition. The only irrefutable truth that the man is thinking or percieving. Also the man used perception because the man mostly used feel because the man feels that his authority and his tradition used to draw or think of a cloud like that. Rene Descartes thinks this is the definition of exstentialism philosophical theory or approach that emphasizes the existence of the individual person as a free and responsible agent determining their own development through acts of the will. Percieving is the act of becoming aware and conscious, then perception is the five senses which are seeing, hearing, smelling and the feel of touch.
The red represents energy, the yellow represents loyalty thats why it goes straight. Then the blue represents water because people and animals cannont live with water, then green represents money or wealth. Lastly the purple stands for power, the black represents darkness, then the white represents purity. So there would not be any darkness in the purity because it would effect the stablity of the society thats what the brown represents.
