"I Think, Therefore I Am" - Descartes. In my opinion this quote is very hard to understand but for me I think it means that whatever you can think you can be it. So basically It means Whatever you can imagine or think you can be it. In my opinion its a message of following your dreams and believing what ever you want to be.
Paragraphs about mindset project
Studies have found patterns that contribute to the study of how a type of mindset affects a person’s success. First of all, there are two types of mindsets. One of them is a growth mindset and the other is a fixed mindset. A fixed mindset is the belief that one is given talents at birth. You either are intelligent or you’re not. The growth mindset is the belief that intelligence can be developed through dedication, hard work, and practice. Having a fixed mindset is dangerous because it can make people discouraged. There are many people studying these mindsets but one of the main researcher is Carol Dweck. She has conducted experiments that prove that having a growth mindset leads to more success and happiness. A fixed mindset is great for a while but later it leads kids down a path that goes nowhere near success.
In her studies she has found many patterns and these studied patterns contribute to proving that a growth mindset is better than a fixed mindset. A pattern that keeps coming up is when students are taught to have a fixed mindset they give up when facing a challenge. A pattern with a growth mindset is that having a growth mindset leads more children towards success. All of this research contributes to our understanding about growth and fixed mindsets. This is important because we can understand how to help students be more successful, happy and how to focus more in school.
For our project, our theme is on roads and streetlights. Streetlights are a good representation of the mindsets because streetlights either let people continue or they make them stop. The green streetlight means to keep going and to never stop when you have to overcome an obstacle. The red street lights means to stop here or your talents only go this far. On the back of the project we drew a picture of what both, growth mindset and fixed mindsets represent. The road that keeps going represents a growth mindset because when you believe in a growth mindset you think that you can keep going and keep gaining knowledge. The road that stops is a fixed mindset because in a fixed mindset you believe that you either are naturally talented or you aren’t. The roadblocks you and you think you can’t keep moving forward anymore. Both roads have a good start but in the end only the growth mindset leads you to success and happiness.

The term or the phrase "I think therefore I am" meant whatever you think, you can be it. But now with a lot of help from annotating a article and learning about the word "irrefutable truths". In present day, I think that "I think therefore I am" means that there is no doubts and also that there is a meaning that people use perception from the irrefutable truths and they use the five senses which are hearing, seeing, feeling, smelling and also touch. That is the meaning of the term " I think therefore I am".

The red represents energy, the yellow represents loyalty thats why it goes straight. Then the blue represents water because people and animals cannont live with water, then green represents money or wealth. Lastly the purple stands for power, the black represents darkness, then the white represents purity. So there would not be any darkness in the purity because it would effect the stablity of the society thats what the brown represents.

In this picture the man is thinking of a cloud but everyone who is told to draw or think of a cloud they will think of the same shape and size of the cloud because he learned it from authority, tradition and also culture. Sometimes this person or even people will have doubts. They will have doubts if they did not learn from their tradition, authority, and culture because they were influenced by authority and tradition. The only irrefutable truth that the man is thinking or percieving. Also the man used perception because the man mostly used feel because the man feels that his authority and his tradition used to draw or think of a cloud like that. Rene Descartes thinks this is the definition of exstentialism philosophical theory or approach that emphasizes the existence of the individual person as a free and responsible agent determining their own development through acts of the will. Percieving is the act of becoming aware and conscious, then perception is the five senses which are seeing, hearing, smelling and the feel of touch.
